ABOUT Branson Boats

The original company was estabished in 1978. The company has evolved over the years from designing and building fine watercraft to becoming the largest supplier of steel kit boats in the UK. Our expertise is based on experience with over two hundred different designs created, with many more completed vessels on the water.

Each design is created by one person who is directly responsible from conception to finished article. The complicated process wereby an idea is realised then computer modeled, checked for hydro statistics, structure defined, plating shapes developed, piece parts drawn and finally raw steel plasma cut has to be undertaken with care! The process ensures the designer has a full and very thorough understanding of all aspects of the boat.

From start to cutting, the tools used produce a very accurate kit of parts that are to the finest tolerances in this industry. The cutting is undertaken by high definition plasma cutter.

Steel is one of the best materials with which to build a boat. If you like the practicalities of steel and are drawn to the striking lines of traditional boats, then consider a new replica build.
